We offer the Ultimate Paint Protection. This is not a valet service. There is a HUGE difference!
We restore and protect your paint.
Ever noticed how some cars just always shine and look great and others just look dull and tatty? The chances are that the car with the deep shine has a regular hand wash and polish by the owner and has been looked after, the dull car has probably been through either automatic car washes or local supermarket car park hand washes.
Supermarket hand washes and car washes use harsh chemicals. Would you wash your car with sand paper? Thought not! Well, that is what your doing each time you use a one of these car washes.
The mud and grit gets trapped in those automatic brushes or cloths used by the supermarket hand washes which then give your car a nice scrub. Putting your car through a car wash just ONCE can cause up to 10% loss of shine due to the abrasive mud and grit being scrubbed into your paintwork.
What about those soft foam brushes I hear you ask? Well, it’s the same. The car wash companies need to save water and as a result the foam or brushes do not get a good rinse between washes. This is why car washes are best avoided, full stop!
Having run a successful valeting business for over 5 years and paint rectification and repairs for over 10 years, Stewart can assure you that he has seen the damage caused to paintwork as a result of poor car washes. Stewart REALLY knows paint!
What is the best way to wash your car?
Hand wash it yourself! Wash with warm (never hot) water and rinse with lots of clean water. Make sure you use a grit guard in your buckets (Available online or from Halfords) and a clean sponge. Use a soft brush for your wheels and use a different sponge for your wheels too.
Do not be so quick to get drawn in to these hand car wash places popping up all over the place. They may seem convenient but they do not all have insurance and the chemicals they use can be harmful to your car and your health! If you use one of these places you will notice your car smells of silicone and your pedals will be very slippery! (would you spray oil over your brake pedal?) Silicone is fine to use if used properly. It should never be sprayed all over the interior of the car without wiping it of as it is harmful to your respiratory system and obviously not good when you need to stop quickly and your foot slides off the brake pedal!
Another issue that we see time and time again is scratches allegedly being caused by the hand car wash places. They are not all that way however if they do not train their staff properly to wash out their cloths / sponges thoroughly and NEVER use the same cloths that have been used on the wheels on the body, then scratches to the body work will occur.
Be careful! To offer competitive prices these places use cheap products and you really need to ask yourself if it is really worth saving a few pounds. I would recommend having your car washed less regularly by a proper valeting company than using these places. Or do it yourself. After all, it’s great exercise!
This is a polishing process that is the key to restoring your paintwork to better than new condition.
Our machine polishing service will restore your paintwork and will remove most light scratches. It could increase the sale value of your car when you come to sell it. All paint finishes, with or without a clear coat, will deteriorate and dull over time. This loss of lustre, called oxidation, is primarily caused by long term exposure to ultraviolet light. Black, red and dark colour finishes absorb higher levels of UV and will oxidise sooner than light colour finishes.
We offer a 3 stage machine compound and polish service that will remove scratches and swirls permanently and bring your paint to life. Bringing a deep, glossy shine that is often much better than when the car was brand new, yes, better than “showroom condition”.
This process will not simply hide your scratches and swirl marks, it will remove them. This is NOT a valet or any ordinary polishing service. This is paint perfecting.
We can also prepare your paint by washing and removing tree sap and tar, then using a clay bar remove contaminants that have stuck to your paint as this must be done before a machine polish, for the best possible results.
This is a unique service that brings together both advanced valeting techniques and bodyshop refinishing that will result in an unbelievable detailed shine and protection for your paint.

"I am writing to compliment you on your skill and workmanship and to say how pleased I am with your repair – the removal of quite serious rippled dents in the rear passenger door of my car. I am reckoned to be something of a perfectionist, and I can only wonder how you managed to remove the dents without damage to the paintwork and consequently make the repair to the door impossible to see. Once again I compliment you on your skill and thank you for a first class job."
"I recently purchased a 7-year old BMW 523i black estate. For a car of that age it came with the usual knocks, scuffs and some minor rust. I can honestly say that your service converted it from what it was to a near brand new vehicle. I am so pleased with its looks and I will without doubt recommend your services to my family, friends and acquaintances."
